In South Carolina for a few days with limited internet. Will update when I return to MI.
Came across this old folding Kodak in a local antique shop. At only $40 I was tempted, but I know it’s nearly impossible to get the 16mm roll film anymore. I love the old manual cameras and still shoot with my Pentax K1000, but I also want to be able to actually use them. Still, it’s a beautiful old camera in fantastic shape.
Does the front end look like an old steam locomotive or is that just me?

Had to order some supplies today and was glad I didn’t need them right away. Um, ok, I guess I’ll not do overnight!
wow
A friend of mine pointed out the nearly 1 ton of sugar stacked in only one part of this store – River Street Sweets in Savannah. I think I gained 5lbs just breathing the air inside… and the pralines I consumed couldn’t have helped either.

Along the riverfront in Brisbane while there for a conference. It’s so overcast and snowy here today that I wanted something a bit bright.

The best thing about this shot is it’s given me a great idea for one tomorrow. Let’s hope the weather stays clear.
Back to the grant. Dernit.
The red attracted my eye so much I didn’t even see the “Keep Closed” sign until I got the pictures off the camera.
In Savannah, GA for a conference and really enjoyin’ bein’ back where the waffles are straight from heaven, the people talk right, and the grits are good.
