The first time I heard someone in Michigan say “knee-high by the fourth of July” I thought they were kidding. Corn should be ’bout done by then, right?

I felt like I was hunting over a baited field, but in the end I like the shot I got here. The new finch feeder went up over the weekend and the little guys took no time at all finding their seeds. Spring, bird feeders over-crowded, and flowers bursting out everywhere. Bring on the summertime!
