Posting two tonight – I’ve been looking at this sailboat just off of Zimmer road all summer as I drive home from my golf course. I’ve been trying to figure out how to do something with a shot here… could only half see the shot I wanted and couldn’t figure out how to frame it.

Finally – tonight – I stopped the car and just started shooting. Something will come out, for good or bad. Take the shots and see what the light finds.

The sun was setting tonight as I shot the first one:

I got the shot above, but then thought I should walk around to the stern to get the sun’s last light across this old beat-up boat, hoping to see something better.
